‘Frisco King’ cast and crew may be headed to film in Tarrant courthouse soon

Taylor Sheridan’s film crew is hoping to use the Tarrant County Courthouse in April for his new show “Frisco King,” according to public records.

The media company, King Street Productions, had originally been approved to use the fourth floor of the iconic downtown building for filming between March 19 and March 21 as well as the street in front of the courthouse.

A withdrawn request indicates that the crew didn’t end up making it to film on the site then, though the cast and cameras of another Sheridan show were on Fort Worth streets around the same time.

Tarrant County commissioners will again determine at their April 15 meeting whether the cast and crew can use Judge Don Pierson’s courtroom to film a scene of “Frisco King.”

Starring Samuel L. Jackson, the “Tulsa King” spin-off will air on Paramount+ but does not have a release date.
