The long-running, all-sports radio station KTCK/1310 AM “The Ticket” was named the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Sports Station of the Year and “The Musers” morning show with George Dunham, Craig Miller, and Gordon Keith were named the Major Market Personality of the Year.

“The Ticket,” which started in January 1994, has been a ratings leader in North Texas for more than 20 years.

It’s the fourth time “The Ticket” has won top sports station in the past 14 years. Winners aren’t eligible the following year.

The Marconi finalists are selected by a task force of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy. The votes were tabulated by an independent firm.

The NAB Marconi Radio Awards were created in 1989 and given each year to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
