— NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) March 17, 2015 Those are the dates for the US leg of the tour supporting her most recent LP, The Pinkprint, and as you can see, she’ll be opening her roughly month-long jaunt right here in North Texas on July 17 at Gexa Energy Pavilion. (She kicked off the European tour today.)
Per Complex, Minaj has assembled a monster slate of opening acts for her American shows: Tinashe, Meek Mill (whom Minaj is reportedly dating), Dej Loaf (one of my artists to watch at this year’s South by Southwest) and Rae Sremmurd. In a word: wow.
UPDATED: Tickets start at $25, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. <strike>I’ll update when more info comes in from Live Nation.</strike>
Of the major concerts announced thus far for North Texas, this has potential to be one of the summer’s — and the year’s — biggest.
