Mark L. Walberg Says 'Not True' to 'Temptation Island' Bonfire Clips Rumor (Exclusive)
The Temptation Island Season 2 couples struggled to figure out their problems throughout the season. Luckily, Mark L. Walberg was there as host and gave them advice.
The stars reunited on a podcast to talk about the season. Parade interviewed Walberg, 63, on May 14. He talked about Netflix possibly having him host the reunions in the future, the claims the cast made about bonfire clips, and more.
Will Mark Walberg Ever Host the 'Temptation Island' Reunion?
"It's not true," the host said. "No, it's not true." He has a theory why the cast members said that. "When you're under the lights in the stress of it and freaking out, and you watch a clip, what you think you saw and what you then see on the air," Walberg said before trailing off. That could affect their memories.
He admits things are edited for the episodes. "There was a moment this season where Summit[Wallace] goes in to kiss somebody at a [...] party game and the actual clip is he goes to kiss Mikey, but they cut it before that so it's misdirect," Walberg said as an example.
"Don't like that," the host said. But Walberg stands with production that most cases, the cast members aren't "getting clipped."
In the end, Walberg feels like Summit grew throughout the experience because he was open to his advice. He also noted that Mikey would ask him questions to better his relationship.
Temptation Island will return to Netflix for season 3. We'll have to wait and see if we get an official reunion with Walberg.
