Taylor Swift arrives at Super Bowl with celebrity pals to cheer Chiefs, Travis Kelce
The calculations began minutes after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship Game.
Singer Taylor Swift’s fans wondered if it would be possible for her to play a concert on a Saturday night in Tokyo, Japan and make it to Las Vegas in time to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce in the Super Bowl the next day.
Turns out it was no problem. Swift arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon after a Trans-Pacific flight, giving her plenty of time to travel to the Super Bowl, where she will cheer for Kelce and the Chiefs for the 13th time this season. That is Swift’s favorite number, in case you were wondering.
Roughly two hours before the Chiefs were set to face the San Francisco 49ers, Swift completed the trip from Japan as she arrived at Allegiant Stadium with actress/friend Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice.
Earlier in the week, Kelce was asked why he thinks people are so enamored with his relationship with Swift.
“I think the values that we stand for, just who we are as people,” he said. “We love to shine the light on others, shine the light on the people that help and support us. And on top of that, I feel like we both have a love for life.”
Here are photos and videos of Swift arriving and check out the No. 87 necklace and the 87 football-shaped purse.
Swift went to a suite that reportedly was paid for by Travis Kelce, and she hugged Eagles center Jason Kelce.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell stopped to chat with Swift, too.
At his annual state of the NFL talk Monday, Goodell said he was happy for Kelce and Swift.
“We see two people who are really happy together, having fun together,” Goodell said. “I think that’s wonderful and I wish them well. They’re both wonderful people.”
