Post Malone to bring live performance to North Texas at American Rodeo this March

Post Malone is set to bring a live music performance to North Texas this March at the rodeo event The American Western Weekend.

The two-day long event will be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

The American Western Weekend will feature “world-class talent and the best in Western Sports.”

Running from March 8 to March 9, the rodeo will also feature country star Luke Bryan, who will perform the first day at The American Performance Horseman.

Grapevine native Post Malone will perform the second day at the event’s The American Rodeo.

“We are very excited to welcome Post Malone to his hometown of Dallas/Ft Worth to add to the party happening around The American Western Weekend,” Deirdre Lester, CEO of Teton Ridge, told Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV. “His energy and drive are very much aligned with the passion that The American Rodeo provokes with rodeo fans and athletes.”

The American Performance Horseman event is designed to “celebrate the elegance and excellence of western equine performance sports,” according to the rodeo’s website.

The American Rodeo event will bring professional and amateur athletes to compete in eight rodeo disciplines.

The American Western Weekend comes before Post Malone is scheduled to open the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas by singing “America The Beautiful.”

Tickets for the two-day event can be purchased at The American Rodeo’s website.
