Big Texas Beer Fest is back in Dallas this weekend. How to get there and back safely
Have your bottle opener on standby, the 11th annual Big Texas Beer Fest returns to Dallas this weekend.
Since 2011, the craft beer festival has been celebrating brews in Dallas with over 100 breweries on hand serving beer, ciders, hard seltzers and more. This year’s festival runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Fair Park automobile building, 1010 First Ave.
Beer fans can expect live music, over 100 vendors, a vintage arcade and a whole lot of cold ones, at the festival. Several food trucks will be on hand, including Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs, who will be serving up their deep-fried State Fair classic.
Tickets are on sale and cost $45 for the festival. No one under the age of 21 years old is allowed into the festival, including children.
Parking will be available at the event, but festival promoters are encouraging patrons to take public transportation. Dallas attendees can take the DART rail, while Fort Worthians can take the Trinity Railway Express to Victory Station and then hop on the green line to the festival.
