Six flags will have a new ride for thrill seekers to enjoy this summer.

The AQUAMAN: Power Wave will be the fourteenth roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas. The ride launches guests in 20-passenger boats back and forth on over 700 feet of track to the top of two 150-foot towers before plunging them straight down at a 90-degree angle at 63 miles per hour.

Guests can ride AQUAMAN: Power Wave when the amusement park opens daily for Spring Break March 11-19.

“Six Flags Over Texas is known for providing innovative thrills and delivering the special moments that create fond family memories,” said Richard Douaihy, Six Flags Over Texas Park President. “We are so excited to introduce AQUAMAN: Power Wave to legions of thrill seekers, and we feel that spring break is the perfect time for the grand opening of this epic new attraction.”

The new coaster will also open from 9 p.m. to midnight, March 11-18, during Scream Break, a new event featuring night rides on select thrill rides, a selection of haunted houses and attractions, and other treats for an additional fee.

Six Flags Over Texas is currently open weekends.
