A Christmas Carol at Casa Mañana

The iconic Fort Worth theater puts a fresh, funny new twist on the age-old classic that will have everyone laughing in their seats. “A Christmas Carol: A New Musical Comedy” features a contemporary score mixed with modern pop culture references that the younger generations can connect to while appreciating the true meaning of the Charles Dickens story. Guests will have a blast while getting into the spirit of the holiday season.

Soul Train to Christmas at Jubilee Theatre

Jubilee’s “Take the Soul Train to Christmas” escorts the audience into the past to show how African-Americans have celebrated Christmas. A grandfather uses magic to transport schoolchildren through history via a “Soul Train.” The journey depicts the struggles Black people endured and along with their perseverance and faith. Written by Ekundayo Bandele and directed by D. Wambui Richardson.

Home for the Holidays at Bass Hall

Celebrate the holiday season with Old St. Nick as he joins the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at Bass Performance Hall. The orchestra delivers another dazzling performance including Christmas carols. The show features Stuart Chafetz as conductor and Emmy- and Grammy-nominated vocalist N’Kenge.
