Renovations are underway at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, which includes the removal of two poles near the front of the stage.

Billy Bob’s general manager Marty Travis said at a press conference Tuesday morning that an “overwhelming” amount of guests have complained about the poles blocking their view from the seats, WFAA reported.

Travis also said the venue will lift a portion of the roof to improve viewing and sound quality.

Admission into Billy Bob’s varies depending on who performs. Known as “the world’s largest honky tonk”, Billy Bob’s has seen performances by George Strait, Merle Haggard, Ringo Starr and Willie Nelson.
