Beatles, Pink Floyd and Star Wars. Concerts in the Garden is back with all the hits.

Concerts in the Garden has been shelved the past two years by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has returned this June with live performances at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

Over the next week, the concert series brings many of your favorite music classics to life. Here is the lineup starting Thursday:

Classical Mystery Tour

Thursday, June 23, 8:15 p.m.

Four musicians who sound and look just like the Fab Four perform more than two dozen Beatles tunes exactly as they were originally recorded. They team up with a live trumpet section for “Penny Lane” and an acoustic guitar and string quartet for “Yesterday.” Hear other classics such as “I Am the Walrus” and “A Day in the Life.”

The Music of Pink Floyd

Friday, June 24, 8:15 p.m.

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and a full rock band fuse rock ‘n roll and classical music in performing Pink Floyd’s greatest hits. Conductor/arranger Martin Herman takes the podium as the ensemble captures the essence of the British group known for their musical experimentation and elaborate live shows.

Star Wars and Beyond

Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, 8:15 p.m

Hear favorite tunes from some of the greatest science fiction films and TV shows, including “Star Wars.” The performance is highlighted by a stunning laser show once the sun sets in the garden.

Trinity Pride Fest back in Near Southside

Trinity Pride Fest returns to celebrate Pride Month in person following two years of virtual gatherings.

The one-day festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 25 from 3-10 p.m. at Magnolia Green Park, located at 1201 Lipscomb St. in Fort Worth’s Near Southside neighborhood. The family-friendly event is free to the public.

Food trucks and an artisan vendor market by Wandering Roots will be on site for the celebration. Also enjoy live music by local artists and bands.

Free parking is available at 1201 Alston Ave.

‘Magic of Murano’ at Amon Carter

The Amon Carter Museum of American Art spotlights the Venetian glass revival of the 19th century alongside works from inspired American artists including John Singer Sargent and James McNeill Whistler.

“Sargent, Whistler and Venetian Glass: American Artists and the Magic of Murano” opens Sunday, June 26 and runs through Sept. 11.

Master glassmakers in Murano, a Venetian island, established Venice as a flourishing art center during the era. Artists such as Sargent and Whistler visited the area and often referenced the glass industry in their works.

Amon Carter’s exhibition features more than 140 artworks, presented alongside rarely seen Venetian glass mosaic portraits and glass cups, vases, and urns by the leading glassmakers of Murano.
