Free parking and discounted transportation options: What to know ahead of ArtsGoggle
Two weeks after Fort Worth held the return of the Main Street Arts Festival and the first Fort Worth Art Fair, another art festival is taking place on the South Side this Saturday.
ArtsGoggle, one of Fort Worth’s largest festivals of local art, will be held in the 21 blocks of Magnolia Avenue from noon to 9 p.m.
Here’s what to know, from event details to transportation logistics.
When did ArtsGoggle start?
According to the ArtsGoggle website, the festival started 19 years ago and is put on by the Near Southside Arts organization. The festival hosts over 1,000 local artists with works available for purchase along with performances from local musical talents.
Is there an admission fee to get into ArtsGoggle?
No, ArtsGoggle is free to attend and is a family-friendly event.
What public transportation options are available to get to ArtsGoggle?
Trinity Metro is offering 50% off a local day pass for those riding to ArtsGoggle on Saturday. The discounted pass gives travelers unlimited transfers for the day on buses, TEXRail, ZIPZONE and TRE within Tarrant County. To get the discount, tickets must be purchased on the GoPass mobile app using one of the following promo codes:

If you’re taking the bus, route 1 stops at the intersection of Hemphill Street and Magnolia Avenue. Routes, 4, 5 and 6 will also make stops near the festival.
The Trinity Metro service ZipZone will also be available to riders in the Southside ZipZone area. ZipZone operates similar to ride sharing services but under public transit.

There are eight free parking options available during ArtsGoggle, some within walking distance and others near event trolley stops.
