Comedian Chris Rock has a North Texas stop planned for his 2022 world tour.

Rock will perform at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving on Nov. 3. Presale tickets go on sale Tuesday starting at 10 a.m.; general public tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Rock is also expected to make stops in Sugar Land and San Antonio later in November.

Rock’s Ego Death World Tour started in April and is his first tour in five years. It is also his first tour since the infamous Oscars moment when Will Smith slapped Rock, who was presenting the award for Best Documentary Feature, onstage over a joke made about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

According to performance reviews on Ticketmaster, Rock has not made jokes centered around the slap, although in his first live show following the Oscars, Rock said he was still “processing what happened.”
