Art exhibit: Picturing the American West

This Western American art exhibit features works by Frederic Remington, Charles Russell and other late 19th century and early 20th century artists. The exhibit has four themes — Bison and Plains Indian culture; Western archetypes; cowboys and Native Americans; and how sunset, twilight and night are used metaphorically in art.
Texas Live!: Quaker City Night Hawks concert

The Texas Ballet Theater will have a performance this weekend in Fort Worth showcasing the music of composer Tchaikovsky along with others. Tickets can be purchased on the Texas Ballet Theater website and range in price depending on seating location.
Black Matters: Poetry showcase and open mic

Counseling and therapeutic group We Do Healing Things will host a Black history tribute open mic for Black History Month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., tickets are required to attend in-person or virtually. In-person cost covers wine and refreshments, according to the We Do Healing Things website.
Fort Worth Opera: A Night of Black Excellence: Say it Loud — Songs of a Revolution
