Here’s how to see the annual Lake Interlochen neighborhood Christmas lights in Arlington
The Lake Interlochen neighborhood, where more than 200 residents decorate their homes, is open for its 46th year of holiday lights. The Arlington neighborhood is expecting 100,000 visitors to drive through the neighborhood from Dec. 17 through Dec. 25.
The tradition started in 1976 when Carole and Bob Findlay encouraged their neighbors to decorate their houses to bring attention to the new subdivision.
Visitors can drive through from 6-11 p.m. and should enter on Westwood Drive. Admission is free.
There will be signs throughout the neighborhood directing traffic along the trail.
