Elton John headed back to Dallas stage. But you’re going to have to wait a while.
Elton John announced Wednesday that he has rescheduled his global Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, and the “Rocket Man” will be in North Texas in 2022.
The tour begins Sept. 1, 2021, in Berlin, and the North American adventure will kick off again on Jan. 19, 2022, in New Orleans.
John will be at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26, 2022.
The latest concert dates on sale are arena shows which were rescheduled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
“I’ve been enjoying my time at home with the family while the word navigates its way through the COVID pandemic,” Elton John said in a Wednesday news release. “But I really miss being on the road and performing for my beloved fans in my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.”

The singer with such legendary songs as “Tiny Dancer,” “Bennie and the Jets,” and “Philadelphia Freedom” promised to stay fit and healthy.
“While the scientists are making great progress, we are making big plans for a return to touring that will allow us to ensure the health and safety for everyone,” John said. “I will be starting my tour again in Europe and the UK in the fall of 2021.”
