The Christmas season is officially upon us and if you’re smart enough to try to get a head start on your holiday shopping, Neiman Marcus has some inspired gift suggestions for those lucky enough to make the cut on your super, extra-nice list.
Since 1926, the Dallas-based luxury retailer has been releasing its annual holiday shopping guide filled with extravagant, imaginative gifts that most mere mortals could only dream of receiving. While the Fantasy Gifts are hands down the most spectacular items in the book, there are still a few other selections that deserve recognition for their slight absurdity.
Here are our picks for the most crazy, over-the-top items from the 91st edition of the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.

Just because you’re Christmas shopping for family and friends, doesn’t mean you can’t snag “a little something” for yourself as well. Case in point: Neiman Marcus’ Yours & Mine Limited Edition Rolls-Royce Dawn Drophead Coupés. Inspired by the exotic locales of Lake Como and Saint-Tropez, the V-12-engined dream ride is available in two bespoke colors (Coniston Blue and Saint-Tropez Orange) and features hand-sewn leather interior with rich wood and brushed metal accents. Choose one for yourself, then pass along the other to someone special for the ultimate Christmas surprise.
Dolce & Gabbana Hand-Painted Smeg Refrigerator ($50,000)
What do you get the most fashionable person on your Christmas list? A $50,000 designer refrigerator, of course. Celeb favorite Dolce & Gabbana has branched out of couture and into the world of home appliances with a new line of limited-edition hand-painted Smeg refrigerators. The colorful appliances are available exclusively at Neiman Marcus and feature one of nine designs inspired by the Italian fashion house’s native country.
Steiff x Karl Lagerfeld “Choupette” Stuffed Cat ($545)
With over 106,000 Instagram followers and 44,000 Facebook fans, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s pet cat Choupette is one of the most influential felines in the fashion biz. Now you can have your own Choupette (shedding not included) by picking up this $500 stuffed version of the style forward kitty. While there’s no guarantee stuffed Choupette will actually help increase your own social media following, she does promise to never harshly critique what you are wearing.
Ralph Lauren Home Paxton Mixology Box ($4,995)
Nothing says “I know you like to take your drinking seriously” quite like gifting someone the $5,000 Ralph Lauren Home Paxton Mixology Box. Inspired by Lauren’s personal fleet of rare Bugattis, the luxe cocktail kit features a carbon-fiber front with a burl wood and leather interior, plus other automotive nods like crystal old-fashioned glasses with hand-cut grooves and leather coasters stitched with the RL logo. Alcohol is not included, so if you’re feeling a little more generous make sure to throw in a gift card to Goody Good Liquor.
S’Well Limited-Edition Swarovski Water Bottle ($1,500)
Not all water bottles are created equal, as evidenced by the limited-edition S’Well water bottle in this year’s Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. The stainless steel drinking vessel comes covered in over 6,000 dazzling Swarovski crystals (each meticulously applied by hand) and costs more than the average monthly rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Fort Worth. No word yet if the blingy bottle actually makes water taste better. Though with that steep of a price tag we sure hope so.
Mackenzie-Childs Courtly Check Moose Head ($15,000)
Like footie pajamas and fruit cake, the Mackenzie-Childs Courtly Check Moose Head is the kind of Christmas present that leaves its recipients talking well after it’s been unwrapped. Decked out in the brands’s signature color-dragged check, the 50-inch tall conversation starter is the perfect statement piece for a fireplace mantel or hall entry. Whether the moose head is actually worth throwing down $15,000 for is beside the point. When it comes to giving gifts, it’s all about the reaction on Christmas morning.
