DETOUR welcomes its first columnist, Faith Adiele

Today, DETOUR: Best Stories in Black Travel welcomes columnist Faith Adiele to the DETOUR family.

Through her column Small World, Big Love, Faith will introduce us to her global community of friends and share her unique take on travel, place and race. DETOUR is thrilled to have Adiele, a self-described travel memoirist and essayist, a lover of food and disliker of nature, a teacher and scholar, serve as our first columnist. Laced with a thoughtful, funny and insightful approach to storytelling, Faith’s work embodies the spirit of DETOUR. We are ecstatic that we will have the opportunity to hear from her regularly through her column.
