Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus has a “twin brother”

Rangers’ shortstop Elvis Andrus has a “twin” - Demarien Bleu, who now lives in Fort Worth. Star-Telegram

- Demarien Bleu’s mother is Canadian, his father is from the Dominican, he grew up on an Indian reservation in Canada, and he has no use for baseball. He readily admits is the “only Dominican who doesn’t like baseball.”

When this guy walked into the gym to play pickup basketball, my first reaction was - “That’s Elvis!”

This is not Rangers’ shortstop Elvis Andrus, but it is freakishly close. Bleu, 23, said he lives in Fort Worth now and he is not a Texas Rangers fan, but that this is not the first time he has heard he is a dead ringer for the Rangers’ shortstop.

Elvis is good at baseball, and his twin is quite good at pickup basketball.
