Horse racing and music have been a winning combination at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie and it will continue again this spring.

The Lone Star Music Series returns, led by the Randy Rogers Band and Dwight Yoakam.

The live thoroughbred racing season begins April 7.

The Randy Rogers Band will perform on April 8 and Yoakam will perform April 9.

The rest of the series includes the Josh Abbott Band on June 17, Gary Allan on June 18, and Pat Green on July 16.

There will be a special announcement coming next month on the July 8 performer.

All concerts are free with paid $5 general admission before 8:30 p.m. and $20 after 8:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the first race post time of 7:05 on Friday and Saturday nights. The concerts begin after the final race.
