About the Stars: Dallas lost Tuesday for only the second time in regulation since Dec. 23, falling 4-2 at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Stars are 4-1-1 in their past six games and entered Wednesday five points out of a wild-card spot. ... Forward Shawn Horcoff, who has missed the past four games due to illness, practiced Wednesday and is ready to return to the lineup. … The Stars will have some special guests on their road trip to Nashville and Colorado this week. Fathers of several of the players will be on the trip. Dads joined the team on a California road trip last season and the Stars picked up five of six points, going 2-0-1.
