Defensive end Greg Hardy did not register a sack in Sunday’s game.
But the combustible defensive end was not shut out on potential controversy.
Cowboys radio sideline reporter Kristi Scales reported in the second quarter that Hardy and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence had to be separated going nose-to-nose in an argument.
The battle was soon resolved as Hardy and Lawrence walked off the field together at halftime. Lawrence had his arm around Hardy’s shoulder at one point.

Both players refused to talk after the game. But defensive end Jeremy Mincey said the tiff was no big deal.
“Man, that’s just brotherly camaraderie, that’s all,” Mincey said. “That’s all it is. It wasn’t no problem, D-Law went out and played his behind off and did a really good show. It wasn’t no problem, no issue.”
Hardy was credited with just one tackle in the game. Lawrence had three tackles and a sack, his second of the season.
