IRVING It didn’t take long for Bennie Logan’s comments to make their way to the Cowboys offensive linemen. On Monday, the Eagles defensive tackle questioned how “great” the Cowboys offensive line really is.
“I saw it on Twitter, of course,” Cowboys center Travis Frederick said. “It seems like everyone in Cowboys Nation has tweeted it to us as an offensive line to make sure that we heard about it.”
Logan, a second-year player, has 41 tackles this season.
He was asked about going against the Cowboys offensive line and said via CSNPhilly.com, “Yeah, they’re OK. I don’t really know what’s great about them. The running back’s having a good year running, but I don’t see anything spectacular about them. Same offensive line we faced last year, and they have one new guy. We faced them [before]. They’re OK linemen.”
Frederick said the Cowboys don’t need any bulletin board material for the first-place showdown Thursday.
“I’m not a really big bulletin-board guy,” Frederick said. “For me, if you can’t get motivated to play a game, this is your job. This is what you do. This is what I love. I’m motivated to play every game. People say things. Sometimes the media … I don’t want to blame you guys, but sometimes they spin it a little bit. It is what it is. I’m not worried about it.”
