Brandon Carr didn’t want to talk too much about it. There was nothing he could really say about Odell Beckham’s one-handed, off-balanced catch that had the football world buzzing Sunday night.
Carr happened to be the victim of that catch, as Beckham sidestepped down the sidelines and, somehow, hauled in Eli Manning’s heave for a 43-yard score.
“I don’t know. I don’t really know, I guess surprised would be the word,” Carr said. “It was a great catch.”
Asked if he could have done anything to defend it, Carr paused and eventually said: “Maybe tackle him out of bounds. It was a good catch. I’m not going to keep talking about one play.”

More reaction from the Cowboys on Beckham and one of the best catches in Giants history:
Dez Bryant: “The man’s a monster. You have to give it to him. He’s one of those guys that loves to play the game. You can tell. He jumps around. He’s got bounce to him. He wants to be out there. He wants to make a play. You’ve got to respect a guy like. That catch? That’s outstanding. Whew, some of my work. You’ve got to give it to him for real.”
Jason Witten: “That was a special catch. I was hoping he stepped out of bounds there, but I think he is just a phenomenal player. He showed that tonight, but that catch is up there with some of the best ever. Huge play by them.”
Jerry Jones: “I’m a lot more impressed after tonight than I was when he was coming through the draft. He looked, at some times, like a man among boys out there. He is an impressive player.”
DeMarco Murray: “It was a good catch. You’ve got to give him credit. He had a good game, he had a real good game.”
