Joseph Randle: Underwear endorsement about “giving back to the community”

Backup running back Joseph Randle made headlines before the game Sunday, when it was announced that he signed an endorsement deal with a Los Angeles-based underwear company.

It comes less than a week after Randle was caught shoplifting underwear, as well as cologne, at a Frisco mall. Randle was fined $29,500 by the Cowboys for the incident.

Randle’s endorsement deal with MeUndies also gives him the chance to help others by speaking to area schools and charities about the importance of learning from your mistakes.

“It’s about giving back to the community to make sure they don’t make the same mistake,” Randle said.

Randle and MeUndies will also be donating up to $15,000 worth of underwear and apparel to children of need.

MeUndies officially announced the deal on Twitter Sunday morning under the caption: “Every mistake is a learning opportunity.”

Randle, a fifth-round pick in 2013 from Oklahoma State, had two carries for seven yards against the Giants on Sunday.
