Jerry Jones expects linebacker Rolando McClain to play this Sunday in Seattle, and signs are showing that’s more realistic as McClain practiced for the first time this week on Friday.
McClain, who re-injured his groin last week against the Texans, was going through drills during the first 30 minutes open to the media.
However, the Cowboys are still short on linebackers with Bruce Carter and Cameron Lawrence still missing time. Carter has already declared himself out for Sunday, while Lawrence expressed hope that he would be able to go. That is looking more and more unlikely.
Defensive end Anthony Spencer, who has played the past two weeks, stuck with his routine of taking Fridays off.
The only new player who was out Friday was defensive end Jack Crawford. He had practiced Wednesday and Thursday.
