DeMarcus Lawrence is the latest to join the Cowboys’ injury report.
The second-round pick appeared to roll his right ankle during a drill going against left tackle Tyron Smith on Tuesday afternoon, and had to be carted off the field.
Owner Jerry Jones said Lawrence would undergo X-rays. Is he concerned?
“I want to see the X-ray,” Jones said. “But the answer would be yes. Hopefully it will be OK.”

Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli also expressed a level of concern.
“You don’t like to see that,” Marinelli said. “You wait and see what it is, but a guy goes down for a little bit, it’s not good. But you just have to go on. It’s next man up.”
Lawrence is expected to fill the Cowboys’ void at defensive end after DeMarcus Ware went to the Broncos. He stated lofty expectations for his rookie season, as well, saying he’d like to have at least 10 sacks.
Lawrence wasn’t the only player to leave practice early. Linebacker Rolando McClain didn’t finish practice because of a stomach virus.
