Dallas Cowboys

NFL personnel ranked the league’s quarterbacks. Where did Dak Prescott place?

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is No. 9 in a raking of NFL quarterbacks by league personnel.

ESPN surveyed coaches, executives, scouts and players for its lists of the best players at each position.

Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs was No. 1.

Prescott was ranked as high as No. 7 on some ballots but was left off of 40% of ballots following a season when he led the NFL in interceptions.

Prescott injured his thumb in the Cowboys’ week one loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and didn’t return until week seven against the Detroit Lions.

Prescott threw for 2,860 yards with 23 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 12 games. Prescott has said he won’t throw more than 10 interceptions this season.

The Dallas Cowboys begin training camp on July, 26 in Oxnard, California.
