The Cowboys and the Lions both need a win.

As crazy as it sounds, their playoff hopes likely depend on it.

All week, there have been questions about the Dallas offense.

Dak Prescott has accepted blame for the unit’s failures. So, too, has Ezekiel Elliott.

Meanwhile, owner Jerry Jones has gotten irritated by some of the questions about the offense.

But he remains committed to head coach Jason Garrett.

So, do oddsmakers think that the Cowboys should be favored against a Detroit team that is coming off its biggest win of the season (26-10 over the Patriots)?

The answer: yes, but not by much.

Right now the point spread provided by most oddsmakers for the Lions-Cowboys game gives the home team a 3 to 3.5-point edge.
