How cold is it? Eagles punter wears warm-up pants on field before kick

It was very, very cold when the Dallas Cowboys played the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

How cold was it?

Late in the second quarter, Eagles punter Donnie Jones wore his long, warm-up sweat pants on the field, took them off then made a 39 yard punt.

The actual temperature was in the 19 degree-range with a wind-chill of 5.

Punters don’t get many snaps, but rarely does a player disrobe on the field before a play.

Then again, it was very cold.
