You’ve probably seen some spiffy gameday threads on a fan or two if you’ve ever attended a Dallas Cowboys’ game. Some of us like to dress to impress at our sporting events.

It’s unlikely, however, that you’ve seen something like the getup Jonathan Southwick was wearing for the Cowboys’ season opener against the New York Giants Sunday night at AT&T Stadium.

Southwick, who is originally from upstate New York but now lives near Washington DC, and is a, ahem, diehard Giants fan, was styling a three-piece suit with the Giants’ logo imprinted all over the fabric. The jacket, slacks and tie cost $60 on clearance, he said, at the NFL Shop online. That’s a steal. You can’t put a price on looking good.

It was nice of him to dress up so nicely even for what will surely be an ugly Giants’ loss ... hopefully, for ’Boys’ fans.

The Cowboys beat the Giants 19-3 Sunday night.
