Jason Garrett was some the worse for wear after the postgame celebration Sunday night. But he wore his battle scars proudly Monday.

The Cowboys coach had a small cut on his forehead and a scratch down his right cheek.

He nonetheless was feeling just fine after the Cowboys’ 29-23 overtime victory over the Eagles.

“I think I got it from [Jason] Witten,” Garrett said. “We all kind of were excited after he scored that touchdown. We all were running around out there. I gave him a big hug, and I forgot that he had a helmet on, and I didn’t. I caught my face on the side of his helmet.”

Garrett jokingly was asked if he would fine Witten, who scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

“No,” he chuckled. “Are you kidding me?!”
