The Panthers have been a shell of their 2015 selves. Reigning MVP Cam Newton has been ruled out of because of a concussion as veteran backup Derek Anderson gets the start. The once-feared Panthers’ defense has given up 29.5 points per game. Former Heisman winner Jameis Winston enters his second nationally televised game with 10 turnovers through four weeks. The loser earns a spot as the NFC South’s last-place team.
