Wings snap skid, look to start winning streak at Phoenix

About the Wings: Karima Christmas and Odyssey Sims each scored 17 points as Dallas snapped a six-game losing streak with an 88-79 victory over Seattle on Thursday. Dallas outscored Seattle 31-19 in the third quarter. Courtney Paris recorded her second straight double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Skylar Diggins (knee) continues to work her way back with nine points on 4 of 6 shooting and five assists in 23 minutes. Glory Johnson will play ex-spouse Brittney Griner for the first time since the two were arrested for domestic violence in April 2015.

About the Mercury: Diana Taurasi scored 31 points, DeWanna Bonner added 20 and Phoenix overcame a 14-point deficit to beat Chicago 86-80 on Sunday. Griner added nine points and 10 rebounds. Taurasi hit two 3-pointers and Bonner made 4 of 4 from the free throw line during a 12-2 run that put the Mercury up 80-77 with 1:40 to play. Phoenix will be on a back-to-back after visiting the unbeaten Los Angeles Sparks on Friday night. Phoenix and Dallas will meet Tuesday in Arlington in a nationally televised game on ESPN2.
