About the Stars: Kayla McBride hit a baseline jumper to pull San Antonio to 73-71 lead with 1:57 left, but Imani Boyette converted a three-point play, and Elena Delle Donne scored 19 of her 23 in the second half as Chicago defeated the Stars 81-75 on Tuesday. ... Moriah Jefferson scored a team-high 20 points while McBride and Monique Currie both chipped in 14 points. … The Stars have lost three straight but have only lost by an average of six points during the skid. … The Stars rank last in the league with 73 points a game, but hold the fourth-best mark in points allowed at 79.6.

About the Wings: Skylar Diggins led four players in double figures with 20 points, and Glory Johnson had season-highs of 16 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season as Dallas defeated Phoenix 100-90 for its season-high third consecutive win on Tuesday. The 100 points were a season-high for Dallas in regulation. ... also shot season-high with 52.8 percent from the field (38 of 72) and 52.9 percent on 3-pointers (9 of 17). Diggins has averaged 23.5 points in the past two games. Dallas ranks third in scoring at 86 points a game. The Wings defeated the Stars 82-77 in their home opener on May 21.
