Drag racing series concludes Friday at Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway’s public drag-racing series concludes Friday with the crowning of the season champion.

Drivers competing in seven divisions race their cars down the eighth-mile-long pit road in the Friday Night Drags series.

The night also includes a motorcycle and car show with four categories.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and races starts at 9:15. The cost is $20 to race or participate in the show. General admission tickets are $10, $5 for children 12 and under.
