This is the second straight season Mother Nature has wreaked havoc on IndyCar race weekend. A year ago, the race had to be postponed two months because the racing surface couldn’t handle much rain fall. TMS underwent a multi-million dollar re-pave and re-profile project before the season to ensure the track would dry in a more timely manner.
