Fossil Ridge dominates rival Keller

Anthony Smith ran for 179 yards with two touchdowns and Elijah Hicks scored on two fourth-quarter touchdown receptions as Keller Fossil Ridge finished the regular season with a 31-3 win over Keller at Keller ISD Stadium.

The Indians scored on the game’s opening series when Logan Swingle kicked a 35-yard field goal.

Key players: Smith ran the ball 23 times for 179 yards, averaging 7.8 yards per carry. Hicks finished with 71 yards on six receptions. Michael Anderson led Keller with 92 yards receiving on five catches.

Key stat: Fossil Ridge doubled Keller’s total offensive production, gaining 437 yards while limiting Keller to 213 yards.
