Crowley’s three-headed rushing attack powers past Burleson

Crowley converted a pair of first-half takeaways into touchdowns and the rushing attack of Jamerian Biscoe, Mook Haley and Rodrick Williams powered past Burleson, 38-20, at Burleson ISD Stadium.

Crowley clinched the District 9-5A championship and a spot in the playoffs. Burleson lost five straight games after opening the 9-5A schedule with consecutive wins.

Key players: Biscoe had 89 yards and two scores on 11 carries. Williams had 121 yards and a score on 14 carries. Haley had 125 yards and a score on 11 carries. Burleson receiver Jaylen Johnson compiled 138 yards on five receptions. Tristen DeLeon had 171 yards passing.

Key stat: Crowley had two rushing scores of 55 yards or more and a third for 34 yards.

Records: Crowley 9-1, 6-1 District 9-5A; Burleson 3-7, 2-5.
