Fast start sends Colleyville Heritage past FW Polytechnic

Colleyville Heritage jumped out to a big lead after the first quarter, led by Ke’von Ahmad’s two scores in the quarter, as the Panthers defeated Fort Worth Polytechnic 68-0 in a District 8-5A game at Mustang-Panther Stadium in Grapevine.

Key players: Colleyville Heritage’s Cam Roane threw for 153 yards and three scores, and running back Mario Ortiz and Landry French ran for two more touchdowns apiece, and Gervon Thothion scored on a 22-yard interception return and Germon Thothion caught 27-yard touchdown pass from Roane. French also threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to Chase Allen.

Key stat: Colleyville Heritage rushed for 361 yards behind nine runners.
