Everman races past Granbury on running back’s 5 TDs

Everman running back Kenneth Johnson scored five touchdowns as the Bulldogs routed Granbury 65-7 in a District 9-5A game at J.E. Marr Stadium in Everman.

Key players: Everman’s Johnson rushed for 146 yards on 14 carries. Quarterback Keonte Lusk rushed for 110 yards and threw for 154 yards in the win. Defensive backs Arthur Wilder and James Brooks picked off passes for the Bulldogs. Granbury quarterback Hunter Jones threw for 77 yards and one touchdown, connecting with Blake Jones for 58 yards for the score. Running back Tyler Pippin rushed for 33 yards.

Key Stat: The Bulldogs’ defense held Granbury to 109 yards.
