Arlington Martin rolls past Arlington Sam Houston

Arlington Martin quarterback Matt Cook threw three touchdown passes and Juma Otaviano rushed for 128 yards in a 62-15 victory over Arlington Sam Houston at Maverick Stadium.

Key players: Martin backup placekicker Andres Morales made all six of his extra-point attempts in place of injured starter Patrick Grady. Martin punted only once, a 34-yarder by Cook.

Key stat: Martin had six ball-carriers with at least 30 rushing yards each as the Warriors gained 419 yards. Backup quarterback Stephen Mohon finished with 82 yards after a 41-yard gain on the game’s final play. Miguel Esquivel had 159 yards rushing for Sam Houston.
