Crowley RB scores four TD in rout of Joshua

Crowley running back Jamerian Biscoe had 14 carries for 148 yards and four touchdowns as the Eagles dominated Joshua 57-3 in a District 9-5A game Friday at Eagle Stadium in Crowley. The Eagles, No. 5 in the Star-Telegram 5A/others rankings, have won five consecutive games and are a game ahead Arlington Seguin and Burleson Centennial in the district standings.

Key players: Eagles running back Mook Haley had seven carries for 118 yards and a touchdown. Crowley quarterback Chris James passed for 97 yards and a touchdown. Owls running back Justin Emberton had 17 carries for 79 yards.

Key stat: Crowley rushed for 378 yards, while the Eagles’ defense limited Joshua to 143 yards. Crowley plays Arlington Seguin next week.
