Euless Trinity throttles L.D. Bell to end two-game slide

Euless Trinity quarterback Malini Maile threw four touchdown passess and a trio of backs rushed for over 100 yards each as the Trojans ended a two-game losing streak and handed the rival Hurst L.D. Bell their fourth straight setback with a convincing win in their annual contest at Pennington Field.

Key players: Maile was 8-of-10 for 131 yards and three of his touchdowns went to Charles Carpenter. Running backs Courage Keihn (162 yards, 2 TD), Gregory Garner (145 yards) and Simeon Ellsworth (119 yards, TD) led a rushing game that amassed nearly 500 yards.

Key stat: Trinity has won 19-straight against Bell. The Trojans did not punt and were 7 for 7 on third-down conversions.
