UPDATE: Arlington Sam Houston defensive back voted dfwVarsity Player of the Week


With almost 6,500 votes cast between six nominees, Arlington Sam Houston defensive back Lucas Williams is the dfwVarsity Player of the Week for Oct. 9-11. Williams received 2,722 votes.

Keller Central DE L.J. Mason recorded 8 solo tackles, 5 assists, 4 sacks and caused 2 fumbles against Justin Northwest.

Fort Worth South Hills LB Martin Munoz recorded 8 solo tackles, 7 assists, 2 sacks and 2 quarterback pressures against Trimble Tech.

Fort Worth Dunbar RB Taylor Martin rushed for 338 yards rushing on 27 carries and scored six touchdowns against Grapevine.

Fort Worth South Hills QB Tracin Wallace completed 10 of 14 passes for 191 yards and 5 touchdowns against FW Trimble Tech.

Arlington Sam Houston DB Lucas Williams made a fourth-quarter interception that led the game-wining points against Arlington High.

Saginaw Boswell LB Cody Trahan recorded 10 tackles and an interception against Saginaw.
