Dallas-Fort Worth area high school football offensive player of the week from Grand Prairie

Grand Prairie’s Drew Damper was voted DFW high school football offensive player of the week in Week 9.

Damper got 47% of the votes. Fossil Ridge’s Landen Chambers came in second with 32%. Brewer’s Montrail Cushionberry came in third and Peaster’s Tramar Gilbert came in fourth.

Damper rushed for 254 yards and 3 TDs against Arlington Bowie that kept the Gophers undefeated in 8-6A.

A total of 10 players were nominated on Tuesday.
