Local high school athletes wish a Happy Mother’s Day with individualized messages

Today, we celebrate our mom’s on Mother’s Day.

Countless hours in the car driving you to practice, to a game, to the football field, basketball gym, volleyball court or to the diamond, and we say “Thank You Mom.”

So in honor of all the great moms out there, here’s an opportunity for the area’s high school players to show their moms how much they really mean to them on this special day:

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms!

Bailey Wagner, Brock softball grad

I just want to say thank you for all the many sacrifices you have made for me. From dragging me out of the house at 5 AM for select tournaments to using your artistic ability to make my friends gifts. You have taught me how to love people with the art of giving and that’s something I will always cherish. I couldn’t ask for a better example to follow, love you mom. Happy mother’s day from your favorite daughter!

I wanna thank my mom by saying that all her hard work and dedication is not unseen and i will forever be great full for the work she does for me and my family she a single mother with two boys you know every day it’s a challenge pretty much and she still holds her head high and fights every day to keep a smile on me and my brothers face. My mom is a real definition of a warrior she works hard fights adversity when it comes to her and she has instilled that into me and my younger brother and I’m forever great full and blessed to have someone like her as a mother she is MY rock. Words can’t even describe how amazing my mother is. She is the kindest, sweetest, and by far the strongest woman I know. As a survivor of breast cancer she shows resilience that I never knew was possible. And she is the MOST loving mother any one can ask for. It’s sad that I only take one day to shine light on how amazing she is. I will forever be thankful for the built in best friend, mentor, and faith leader I have in my life. Thank you mom for building this life for me and helping me get where I am today. Forever grateful for you.

She has sacrificed so much so that I can follow my dreams and have a great life and for that I am forever thankful for my mom!

I don’t tell my mom how important and special she is in my life, but I am forever grateful for all that she is and who she has taught me to be. There are not enough words to even describe how important my mom is in my life. I’m sorry for the worry that I’ve ever put her through as I learned my mistakes and she still helped carry me through. I love you and thank you Mom.

Mother’s Day is coming and well I can tell you my mom has a special place in my heart. She’s been there since day one and has never left my side, even through rough patches. Thanking my mother couldn’t be enough for what she has done for me. For all the hours she’s worked, the money she spends for softball, and even rolling the windows down in Black Betty to sing our favorite country songs. Even when it was rough she still made my life happy no matter what so I couldn’t see the holes. I’m thankful for everything my Mom has done for me, not just one or two things all of them. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have this life that I have now. Thank you Mom. Love you.

I know I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today without her, she always give me constant support and always pushes me to be the best version of myself. I love her with my entire heart and honestly I couldn’t even put it into words for how thankful I am for everything she does. But I am thankful for the countless drives to practices, the late nights talking, the endless hugs, and for her always loving me no matter how much I deserve it that day. My mom has been a crucial part of my support system and has taught me so much and I’m forever thankful for everything she does for me. I am so blessed to have someone as hard-working, motivated, loving, and self-assured as my mom and I cannot stress enough how much I love her and how grateful I am for her!

Happy Mother’s Day mom! Thank you for being my best friend all these years. You have genuinely pushed me to be a better person. I hope I can be a great mom to my kids just like you are to us. You have supported me through every decision or moment in my life and have always been there to back me up. I thank you for coming to all my volleyball, basketball, softball games and horse shows all these years. I know that my number one fan will always be in the stands cheering me on. You deserve the world mom! I know you would and have sacrificed so many things for me to have a better life and I hope one day i can repay you for that. You truly are the best friend a girl could ask for. I love that I’m able to be home this Mother’s Day and spend it with you. Thank you for working hard everyday and showing me what it is to be a hard working, loving, caring, beautiful mom! To my mom, and the best friend I will ever have. You have supported me since the beginning, you would take me to cheer practice then to volleyball practice and you have never missed a game. You drive so many hours just to watch me play for maybe 2 hours and then talk to me for a few minutes before i have to get back on the bus to go back to school. I cherish those moments. I will never be able to thank you enough for being my biggest supporter. You have believed in me since day one. You support my decisions and are constantly there for me. Although when I am at college, I facetime you about 20 times a day just to tell you random things because hearing the sound of your voice makes my days so much better and it’s so hard to not see you every single day. The woman I am today is because of you. You have taught me that it’s okay to cry because at the end of the day It makes me stronger. You have taught me to never give up on my dreams and I mean never ever give up, you have pushed me beyond my limits and helped me reach each dream of mine. You have given me more than I could ever ask for. I can always say thank you for everything but in reality, those words will never describe how grateful I am to have you. Thank you mom, for giving me everything and more, for teaching me so many life lessons, for the unconditional love and support, and mostly for being my best friend. I love you, and happy mother’s day!

Mom, you’re my best friend. If I have a bad day, or the best day, I know you will be there for me no matter what. You encourage me, inspire me, and love me like no other. You have showed me what it’s like to be kind, show strength, and to love everyone that surrounds me. You are my number one supporter. Always there behind the scenes cheering me on. You have been the best mom anyone could ask for. Thank you so much for everything you do. I love you so much Mom. You never fail to keep inspiring me. You mean everything to me.

Thank you momma for everything. FOr the person I have become and all the lessons I have learned, thank you for being there every step of the way. Thank you for getting me into athletics and for pushing me to try new sports until I found the best fit. I found out many things about myself and how hard work will get you to where you want to get in life. It all started with soccer. From getting the shin guards to providing the orange slices and gatorades after my little league games to now being the shoulder to cry on after a bad game or giving me a big hug after a good game. My mom has been there no matter what and made sure I had whatever I needed even if it meant spending thousands of dollars on club teams or driving thousands of miles over the years to get to my games. I’m so incredibly blessed to have you as my mom and I love you forever and always momma!

Dear Mom, I don’t even know where to start but by first saying thank you. Thank you for your constant love and support no matter what. You’ve always been there for me even when I was hundreds of miles away, you always there. Thank you for sacrificing all your time and efforts just so I could accomplish my goals and dreams. Thanks for all the times you’ve spent on the softball field helping me get better and being in the stands and being my biggest fan. Words can’t even express how blessed I am to have a mom like you. I’d like to start off by thanking my mom for the countless hours she’s put in to my life to make me the person I am today. She’s at every baseball game whether it’s school or summer. She even shows up early to watch me in pregame. Sure she might get stressed out in the middle of a game if I make a bad decision or even just go in to pitch but when I get home she always loves me. No matter the way I play she always supports me. The words thank you and love you to her after the game or at home aren’t enough. There’s not a way to pay her back for how much she’s done for my life. I can’t wait to play for UTA with her in the stands at every home game and maybe some road games so she can have a vacation. I love you mom, thank you for everything that you’ve done for me whether it’s cooking, driving me places, or just listening to me rant about baseball.

I love my mom because not only she is the funniest person I’ve ever met. She is the best friends (even though she says we’re not, we are). Without her my life would be so much more dull because of her personality. She is one of my biggest supporters and I know when I go off to college, I will call her every single day because it’s going to be so hard without her. I love my mom so much!

I really appreciate my mom for everything she has done for me and my sister. She taught me and my sister the true meaning of love. She has been doing everything for us as a single mother and not having the perfect life she is a strong tough woman. She battled breast cancer and still had the will to fight and pay bills and give me and my sister food to eat and a place to sleep. She always pushes me and my sister to go he extra mile and succeed at everything we do and that’s why I am who I m today. The person I am today is from my mom I watch everything she does so I can be like her when I grow up. I’m just a lucky kid to have a wonderful, beautiful, strong, and brave mom like her. Once again I just want to say thank you to my mom!

We’ve overcome so many things and I just want to thank you for making me into the woman I am today and pointing me into the right path and always trusting God’s plan. You have showed me to always stay true to myself and play to the best of my abilities. Thank you for being my No. 1 fan. I love you always.

Mom, throughout the years I’ve grown to appreciate you more and more every single day. You are the most beautiful soul that I know and I am so proud to be your son. Thank you so much for all that you have done and that you will continue to do for me. Your attitude toward life and your work ethic have definitely rubbed off and I’m so humbled to be able to be even just a little like you. You are there for me through the good and hard times both, and I know you are always going to be a rock for me to lean on. A mother like you deserves more than just one day of recognition. I love you so much mom and Happy Mother’s Day!

Well my mom means the world to me she has constantly provided me with everything I need in life. She is my best friend...even though we may not agree on somethings I know she has my best interest no matter what. She has always been my number one fan whether it was sitting at a gym all day for AAU tournaments or keeping me on track with my grades. And most importantly she instilled the word of Christ in me from a young age, I wouldn’t be the God fearing young man I am today with out my mother. I love my mom,she has my back and I have hers for life!

Momma, thank you for the countless hours, miles driven, and the amount of support given to me and my dream throughout theses years. You are the mom every little girl prays they have. You’re easy to talk to, approach situations with an open heart, an open mind and never are quick to judge no matter what it is we do. You make me a better woman every single day. I can’t thank you enough for being everything you are. A superhero. A role model. A mentor. You teach us that we can be anything with hard work and some elbow grease. You are the epitome of a fighter. You teach us how to be go getters and to fight for what we believe is right and what we believe in. No goal is ever too big for us to achieve. I love you infinity!
