The Dragons will be playing in the regional final for the second-straight season and sixth in 11 years. They went to the state tournament last season.

By the numbers: The Dragons have won 10-straight games while outscoring opponents 62-15. They split the season series with Marcus. Senior RHP Nicco Cole (Howard Junior College) is 4-0 in the playoffs. He’s posted a 0.77 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings.
The Marauders last made the regional final in 2014 and also went in 2009.

By the numbers: The Marauders haven’t lost back-to-back games since March. They have won their last five games following a loss, including two in the playoffs, and have scored 31 runs. Zach Jordan hit two doubles, a home run and drove in seven vs. Keller.
Class 5A Region I Finals
Haslet Eaton (30-8-1) vs. Amarillo (29-10-1)

The Eagles are in the regional final in only their second year of playing at the varsity level.

District: First in 6-5A
Coach: Jeremy Fatheree, 3rd season, 207 career wins
By the numbers: The Eagles have allowed six runs in seven playoff games and have posted two shutouts. They have won 13-straight games. In the post-season, their pitching staff has a 0.57 ERA with 74 strikeouts.
The Sandies are in the regional final for the second time in three years. They went to the state tourney in 2016.
Playoffs: Abilene Cooper (8-10, 16-0, 7-0), Bel Air (4-0, 15-4), Lubbock Coronado (6-1, 2-1), Colleyville Heritage (2-1, 7-12, 7-6)
District: First in 3-5A
Coach: Jeff Timmons, 8th season, 580 career wins
By the numbers: The Sandies are averaging 7.4 runs per game in the playoffs. They have lost just three games since March 3. They knocked out Heritage, which was the No. 2 team in the state in Class 5A.
Class 4A Region I Finals
Godley (29-1) vs. Iowa Park (30-5)
All games at Justin Northwest. 7 p.m. Wednesday, 1 p.m. Thursday, 7 p.m. Friday.
The Wildcats, the No. 3 team in the state in 4A, are playing in the regional final for the third-straight year.
Playoffs: Mineral Wells (12-0, 8-0), Burkburnett (15-1, 11-1), Kennedale (2-0), Denver City (9-6, 10-5)
District: First in 8-4A
Coach: Pat Maxwell, 6th season, 359 career wins
By the numbers: The Wildcats’ only loss came on April 3 vs. Midlothian Heritage. They have 11 shutouts, three in the playoffs. They are outscoring opponents 284-49. Texas A&M signee Brett Brown has 16 RBIs in seven playoff games.
The Hawks played in the regional final in 2014. They also went in 2005 and 2001, when they went to state.
Playoffs: Snyder (5-0), Stephenville (8-1, 3-4, 4-0), Abilene Wylie (2-4, 18-7, 8-2), Bushland (6-5, 1-5, 13-7)
District: First in 6-4A
Coach: Michael Swenson, 11th season
By the numbers: The Hawks have played three games in each of the past three rounds. The bats have come alive in four elimination games during that span where they have averaged over 10 runs per game.
Class 3A Region I Finals
Brock (29-3-1) vs. Peaster (26-5)

The Eagles have reached the regional final for the sixth time in 10 years. They also went in 2006 when they won state.
Playoffs: Paradise (3-1, 11-1), Comanche (6-2), Dublin (15-2), Wall (9-1, 8-4)
District: First in 7-4A
Coach: Hart Hering, 3rd season, 85 career wins
By the numbers: The Eagles are 25-1 in their last 26 games. In six playoff games, they are outscoring opponents 52-11. Cole Lightfoot and Jase Lopez combined for 13 RBIs vs. Wall. Brock has won the last eight games vs. Peaster.
The Greyhounds are in the regional final for the second-straight season.
Playoffs: Boyd (7-1, 8-0), Brady (12-1, 7-1), Jacksboro (14-4, 5-1), Shallowater (5-1, 15-14)
District: Second in 7-4A
Coach: Lynn Grimes, 5th season
By the numbers: The Greyhounds have scored 73 runs in eight playoff games. They clinched a regional final berth vs. Shallowater via a walk-off balk.
