Former Keller Fossil Ridge basketball star Grayson Bright is transferring to play at Louisiana Tech.

Bright, who graduated in 2016, had signed and played the past two seasons with Texas Tech before deciding to leave early last month.

Bright was second on the team in minutes played (685) last season while playing 27 of 30 games. She played in all 31 games as a freshman.

She was ranked as the No. 73 guard nationally in the 2016 class during high school. She was a first team all-district selection and TABC All-Region as a senior after averaging 17.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. She was a first team member on the Star-Telegram all-area team.

She averaged 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.4 blocks per game as a junior. She was named District Offensive MVP, TGCA All-Region and a second team member on the Star-Telegram all-area team.

Bright was named district newcomer of the year and first team all-district as a freshman.
