The TCU-SMU football game tonight is expected to be delayed by more than an hour from its scheduled kickoff of 7 p.m. at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. An official start time has not been announced.

Lightning must be out of an eight-mile radius of the stadium for at least 30 minutes before teams can take the field. Each team wants about 30 minutes to warm up. Teams have yet to take the field as of 7:30 p.m.

TCU defensive standout Ty Summers is excited about Friday's game against Metroplex rival SMU. Summers and the rest of the Frogs are looking to improve to 2-0.



Neither team has taken the field yet tonight.
